One time we were bored. And it's cold. So we made rainbow cookies. Val's idea. They were fun and the boys got to mix the primary colors to make secondary colors. When they were finally done, Sam said, "Those were a lot of work!" And they did take some time. But that was the point.
One time we went shoe shopping and the boys got those little nylon socks you can use to try on shoes.
One time Kendall made a car and raced a couple other guys that are involved in scouting at our Pinewood Derby. He would have won and been dubbed "King of the Track" among his peers, but then a nine year old stuck his car on the track and left Kendall's in the dust. And then the title just didn't seem as cool.

One time, our friends, the Binghams, came over for homemade pizza and "FHE" (or because the guys wanted to play 'guitar hero'). These are the girls that taught our boys to play "Family". But it's okay because our boys taught them to play "Spiderman".
One time we put Brigg in the 'big boy seat' next to Luke at Sam's Club. There's those cheeks and that hat again.
