My next door neighbor does a Cloverbuds 4H group every summer.  Sam was old enough this year, so we signed him up.  They have a little half hour weekly  meeting and a cumulative project that they enter into the fair at the end of the summer.  This year, the theme was on gardening.  They learned all about different aspects of gardening....soil, good bugs and bad bugs, weeds, roots, etc.  In the late Spring, Sam planted some zucchini seeds.  All summer we have been watering and taking care of that zucchini plant.  Then, last week, he chose a zucchini we were supposed to make something out of it.  He wanted a rocket.  He submitted it to the fair where he got a ribbon and $2.50 for his submission.

And here it is today.  He's showing you the half dollar coin he got as part of his $2.50.  He's decided not to spend it...just save it as his "lucky coin".
