Let's go Fly a Kite

I've tried to fly a kite a handful of times in my life.  I have never been able to get a kite up in the sky, flying on it's own.  My experience with kite flying has been to hold onto the end of the kite string while I run around as fast as I can to keep it from hitting the ground. Kite flying is dumb.

  A few weeks ago, it was windy.  Luke had been wanting to fly this kite Kendall got from work.  And Sam had a cool kite we found at DI that we've never had much success getting up.  We took the kites to the park down the road and... voila! They were up in the air....higher and higher....and we were standing still!  There was no running involved! Kendall even tied the end of Luke's to a tree while he played on the playground and it still stayed up!

Kite flying is so fun!
