More Summer fun

 Going through the pictures.  Here's another random dump of summer happenings....

Sam bought some rockets with his birthday money and we had a few different instances of shooting rockets off.  Lots of fun!

There were swimming lessons back in June....

I had a birthday....

 The boys earned a night stay at a hotel because they all got "blackouts" on their reading Bingo cards.  Instead, we stayed at a little bitty cabin at a camping site and swam in their pool in the morning.  It was fun and different, but the beds were hard as rock. Kendall and I didn't sleep well. 

Bountiful parade....

They had 2,000 strippling warriors in the parade. It was really neat. 

We've had LOTS of playing with friends in the neighborhood and we always have a lot of costumes around here. 

The Spidermen are Sam and his good friend Scott. 

We used our free bowling tickets.  We planned on 2 games and the boys were totally done after one. 

Sam helped Dodge put his ball up and roll it down the thing. 

And, at the end of August, we took advantage of some discount days and went to Lagoon! Always a blast!

We got soaked on Rattlesnake Rapids!

I'm not sure why we waited for the night to do that one. We were all cold afterward. 

Last week, before getting back into the swing of school after being off track, we went to $2 Tuesdays at the Dinosaur Museum.  Apparently, everyone within 50 miles had the same idea. ;) It was crowded!

Sam's friend, Scott, came along. 

After a lot of begging from Brigg, I made arrangement to babysit this little cutie in our ward a few times. My boys all love her.  She is adorable!

This was a snack Sam made for me one day.  It is carrots and bananas with hot sauce. Yum! :) How thoughtful .
