Balloon Fiesta!

In October, we went to Albuquerque to visit Sarah and her family and go to Balloon Fiesta!

The Balloon Glow was canceled the first night because of the wind.  But, we still had a picnic, played in the field and watched the Firework show. 

We got up early one morning to watch the mass ascension. It was really neat to watch the balloons fill and ascend! Then, we got in the van and chased them.  We saw lots of them land and were able to help one of them roll up the balloon!

 We wen to a little Fall Festival later that afternoon and had fun on some blow up things, getting faces painted, decorating pumpkins and seeing lots of characters walking around....

 We had lots of fun playing with cousins and family. We stayed in and played cards, put together a puzzle and the kids played with their glow sticks in the backyard...
