So far this year.....

It has been a cold, cold winter!  But, we've been trying to have some fun anyway.
We went ice skating at this cute, tiny little outdoor skating rink.  It was perfect for the boys' first time and they loved it! Dodge and I walked around and looked at the fountains and shops nearby.

After we were done skating, we went into the building next door and sat next to the fire to warm up and dry off.

Kendall made an awesome fort that covered the whole bedroom one night.  The boys had fun sleeping in it.  You had to enter through the Thomas the Train tent.

We spent some time with great Grandparents.  Kendall's grandpa Moore has had some health issues.  We visited him while he was at the hospital near us.  This was before a surgery he had to remove a tumor in his brain.  He was happy and joking with us.  It was a great visit and we are glad to have the memory. He has gone down hill and it now at a Senior center full time.

We love being close to my Grandma and Grandpa Porter so we can go visit for Grandma's birthday . Dodge is getting some fun rides from Grandpa.

My older sister had her twins which has been so fun and exciting.

Dodge's nursery leader made him this cute hat.

For FHE, we made ice cream in bags. Yum!

For Valentine's Day, we had our traditional candlelight dinner with the kids.  I made shrimp and chicken souvlaki with tzatziki , rice and green beans.

One Saturday, when it wasn't horribly cold, we drove to the Capitol building and walked around inside and out.  It was a fun, free little outing!

The kids were off track most of February.  For their last school day before they headed back, we went to Kangaroo Zoo.  It was a great way to spend an afternoon! The boys loved having a chance to just run around like crazy.

Also, my cute little brother got his mission call to Lubbock, TX Spanish speaking.  He leaves in June, just barely after he graduates from High school! Proud of him!
