Farewell Dinner

We have some major changes happening in our family right now.  Kendall has taken a new job in North Carolina and he starts next week.  Our house is now on the market and me and the boys will stay behind and get our house sold while Kendall goes to live in a hotel in NC and work.  We feel like this is really the right thing to do, though life is a little stressful right now because of it.

Our wonderful friends and neighbors, the Soares, organized a farewell dinner for us since Kendall is about to leave.  We had lots of people from our amazing neighborhood come eat dinner with us at a yummy mexican restaurant called Lorena's.  We felt so loved and touched by all the people that came! Looking around, it made us feel gratitude for the gift of the Holy Ghost.  Through the Spirit, we can feel confident that our choice to move is right, even though we're leaving behind so many wonderful people to do it. We will miss our friends! What a good, fun, supportive group we have around us here!
