it's coming...

The cold air is coming. I can feel it in my bones. It makes me want to hurry and spend as much time enjoying outside as possible before everyone goes inside and locks their doors until Spring. This summer has gone too fast and now all the kids are back in school and days are getting shorter. Really, Fall is probably my favorite season as long as I don't think about the fact that it's just a transition to winter.

This Friday night we went to one of our favorite places in Logan, First Dam. It's fairly close and easy and free and is packed with all kinds of things that the kids like (and so do we). Like, a reservoir with millions of ducks to feed and geese to chase, a cool tunnel to run through and scream in for the echo, wild flowers for picking and, of course, some hiking.

Dear Winter,

I know you're coming. But, take your time, alright? No need to rush.

Thanks,

Warm and Happy in Logan
