Hotel Living

 When we got to North Carolina, we still had a week before we would close on our house.  In the meantime, we checked into a hotel with the few pieces of luggage we had brought with us.  This was our house for a week.  We had 2 conjoining rooms which gave us a little more space.  It still wasn't a ton of space and we were mostly right by each other all the time.  Like this...

Cougar came with us, of course.  He was amazing! He didn't meow or try to escape.  He just settled into our 2 little rooms and was totally content.  Our great friends, the Heugly's, gave us that cute little Christmas tree.  We added a string of lights and some window clings and we were officially in the Christmas Spirit!

We ate our meals at this little bity table with two chairs.  We had a microwave and a little fridge and got creative with what food we ate. 

During the days, we swam in the hotel pool everyday! We also went places to get our of the rooms for a bit.  We checked out a park and the mall and one of those drive through Christmas light places.

Finally, after a week, we signed the papers and were homeowners once again! This is me and the boys checking out the house right before we met to sign the papers.  This was their first time seeing the house and our cute realtor took this great picture for us to commemorate the occasion. :)
